WCHS Students Win at Lincoln Trail Conference Art Festival

Launch the media gallery 1 player - media #2WCHS was represented by several students at the Lincoln Trail Conference Art Festival on April 18 at Monmouth College. Out of 10 pieces of artwork submitted, 4 received ribbons: Angel Derengowski, 2nd place in oil pastels; Ashley Gyovai, 3rd place in pencil portraits; Teressa Hartman, 3rd place in pencil landscape; and Aryanne Westfall, 2nd place in computer graphics. Besides the art exhibit, WCHS students also participated in hands-on art workshops put on Monmouth College staff and students. The Lincoln Trail Conference Art Festival is an annual event hosted by Momouth College, which includes artwork from at least seven different school districts throughout the region. We are very proud of all of the WCHS students who participated!
