Thinking Like a Scientist!

Our 5th traders have been learning to think like scientists! We have done several experiments using the scientific method as our guide in thinking. Our first experiment included soaking Gummy Bears in several different solutions. The students made hypotheses, experimented, and came up with conclusions.

Our second experiment was called, "Eating Nails for Breakfast". The students questioned whether there really was metallic iron in Total cereal. They were able to gather the metal in the cereal using water, cereal, and magnets! The results were so fun to see.
