Six middle and high school music students auditioned for the ILMEA festival held at Augustana College, November 9 and were selected by judges to participate.
To audition, students are required to prepare multiple pieces and scales to perform before a judge and sight-read (music they have never seen) on site. Four middle school students were nominated to participate in the elementary choir (open to 5th and 6th grade students), November 2.
