West Central District #235 was the recipient of two generous donations to be applied to unpaid lunch balances at the district. The Oquawka United Methodist Church donated $1,146 toward unpaid lunch balances.
The second donation in the amount of $1,502 came from the West Central Athletic Association. The West Central Athletic Association's members baked items to raffle at home games in November and December. They also had cans labeled "Together We Can Make A Difference" setup at the games. Several donations were also received from local churches and businesses who wanted to donate. The WCAA wants to add how thankful and proud they are of our community and the WCAA members!
West Central District #235 would echo that we are also thankful and proud to have such community support for our students!
