LTC Art Show

West Central High School art students attended the annual Lincoln Trail Conference Art Show on Monday, March 19, 2018. The show was held on the Monmouth College campus. Of the nine artworks submitted from West Central, three ribbons were earned. 5th Grade Reads!

5th graders who met their Accelerated Reader point goals celebrated with a candle light dinner. Students dined by candle light in the classroom with their teachers. Dinner music was provided as well as a special dessert of ice cream! Congratulations 5th Grade! We are proud of you for the hard work and dedication it takes to set and meet those reading goals!

WCHS FFA Officers Visit WCMS

The WCHS FFA officers came to the middle school on Wednesday, March 7 and met with the 8th graders.  They discussed the program benefits like making new friends, learning new things, competing with other schools, getting to travel to new places, networking with kids from other FFA programs, and boosting their scholarship applications. They also did a team building activity with the 8th graders.
