West Central High School art students attended the annual Lincoln Trail Conference Art Show on Monday, March 19, 2018. The show was held on the Monmouth College campus. 5th graders who met their Accelerated Reader point goals celebrated with a candle light dinner. Students dined by candle light in the classroom with their teachers. The WCHS FFA officers came to the middle school on Wednesday, March 7 and met with the 8th graders. They discussed the program benefits like making new friends, learning new things, competing with other schools, getting to travel to new places, networking with kids from other FFA programs, and boosting their scholarship applications. It is with great honor and excitement that I introduce myself, Kimberly Harrison, as the new Assistant Principal of West Central Elementary. I recently graduated from Western Illinois University with a Master of Science in Educational Leadership. I previously graduated from Western Illinois University with a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics, and have had the privilege of teaching high school mathematics for the last ten years.
