Recently, Yvonne Knapp wrote a grant to the Two Rivers Arts Council and the West Central Middle School Drama Club received a check for $950.00 for our support of the arts.
Mrs. Miller, Ms Cory, Mrs. Eckley and I decided to use the money to help pay for our cast members to go see “Diamonds and Divas” at Circa 21. We took the kids up on March 16th and had the best time. We are very appreciative of Two Rivers for giving us this opportunity to show our students another aspect of theater.
The high school is performing “Beauty and the Beast” on April 4, 5, and 6 in the high school gym. The middle school is performing “Curse of the Werewolf” on May 2, 3, and 4 th at the Raritan Opera House. On behalf of the high school and middle school drama departments, we hope you will come see our shows.
