WCMS Presents “Curse of the Werewolf”

West Central Middle School will be performing “Curse of the Werewolf” by Tim Kelly (produced by special arrangement with The Dramatic Publishing Company of Woodstock, IL) on Thursday, May 2, Friday, May 3, and Saturday, May 4. All shows begin at 7:00 PM with the doors opening at 6:30 PM. This mystery farce centers around Buzz Halliburton, a performer for Circus Stupido, who has fallen on hard times. He receives a mysterious letter from his Uncle Algernon inviting him to Gargoyle House which is located on a lonely island in New England. Buzz arrives with his partner, Admiral Byrd (a penguin) and Connie Pigeon, the new governess for Little Messalina, a child terror to meet his Uncle Algernon only to be told by Hushabye, a neighbor, that his uncle is dead. Buzz and Connie meet the rest of Buzz’s crazy relatives. There is Colonel Snipes his Uncle, who thinks he is still in the military, Mrs. Snipes, Buzz’s Aunt the gold digger, Mrs. Grim the housekeeper and her son Humphrey the handyman of Gargoyle House. Algernon’s lawyer, Tarbuckle, shows up to read the will with another young man claiming to be Boris Halliburton.
So, come find out who killed Algernon Snipes.
