West Central Elementary School had a fantastic response from our students with summer reading postcards. There were 52 students who shared their reading with teachers and staff over the summer. Students read or listened to 10 books, recorded the titles on their postcard, and mailed them back to West Central staff.
There were so many wonderful books listed on the postcards. Some popular summer reads include “Click, Clack, Moo”, “Blue, Barry and Pancakes”, “The Bad Guys”, and “Grumpy Monkey.”
Students received a reward when school resumed in August. They got to pick a free book from a book order. Great work, everyone!
