Reading Buddies

This year, sophomore students in ENG II have volunteered to read with elementary students. One day a week (either Fridays or Mondays) the sophomores show up to their assigned classrooms and either read to or listen to elementary students, instead of going to their English II class.
This opportunity allows our younger students to see the importance of reading and practice important reading skills, while it allows our high school students to give back and make a difference to our community. #WCHeatPride
