Senior Spotlight - April 27

We start this week's WCHS Senior Spotlight off with Peyton.

"It's pretty hard to choose what my favorite classes are," she said when asked about her favorite classes at WCHS. "I loved listening to Coach read in his English class. I had a lot of fun in Mrs. Singleton's US History class, and I made lots of memories with my friends there. Mr. Boyle's World History class is always interesting, and any class with Mr. Boyle is entertaining. Of course, there is also Band, where I have made so many memories playing at sporting events, contests, and concerts and have had lots of fun with some of my best friends."

After graduating from WCHS, Peyton plans on attending Illinois State University to study Interior Design or FCS Education.

Peyton's advice to WCHS underclassmen is this: "Go to every home sporting event that you can. Get active in our wonderful clubs and organizations. Participate in Homecoming and FFA week activities. Be the best person you can be and set a good example for the classes beneath you. Most importantly, have fun. Don't wait until your senior year to be an active student or go to the big events, because the next thing you know, the end of your senior year is taken away from you and you'll have missed out on everything."

From all of us at WCHS and the entire West Central School District #235: We are proud of you, Peyton!
