Our Senior Spotlight for today from the Class of 2021 is Keri Mueller!
Keri's plans after high school include going to Carl Sandburg or SCC for Criminal Justice.
While in school she hopes to be working at the Kewanee Correctional Center after training. Her favorite class in high school were Mr. Boyle's classes. As Keri explained, "I loved taking anything with Mr. Boyle. He made every class fun. He wasn't a strict teacher. He understood that we are still young and sometimes we are a little slower when it comes to school. He is probably the most understanding person I've ever met. Definitely going to miss him the most."
Keri's advice to underclassmen is "Don't assume your senior year will be the easiest. Take your time. It all goes by fast trust me. It feels like just yesterday it was my first day as a freshman at West Central. Now I am graduating in a couple months and it doesn't seem real yet. Have fun and enjoy your few years of high school. You'll miss it, trust me."
