Senior Spotlight - April 22, 2021
Our Senior Spotlight for today from the Class of 2021 is Halee Porter!
Halee is still trying to decide what to do after high school. As Halee explained, "Believe it or not, it's a super stressful thing to try to decide what you want to do for the rest of your life at 18 years old. As of right now, I have been accepted to SCC and am planning on going there for at least my first year of college. I'm hoping that I will get some guidance there and it will help me decide what I would be good at."
Her favorite class in high school was "any of Mrs.Alexander's classes: Foods class and Textiles and Designs were my favorite. Mrs.Alexander is very knowledgeable about life, she is so understanding and patient, and is just all around an amazing teacher. <3"
Halee's advice to underclassmen is to "Work really hard the first three years of high school, and then you can do easy classes and coast your senior year after you have senioritis. ;)" Halee's other advice to underclassmen is "Cherish these last four years with the kids you haven grown up with. When you graduate you will all go your separate ways, but the memories you make will stay with you.
Congratulations to Halee Porter on her upcoming graduation from WCHS!
We are proud of you!
