Early Childhood Enrollment Opportunities for the 2022-2023 School Year
West Central District #235 in collaboration with ROE #33 offers free developmental check-ups at West Central Elementary School. A developmental check-up evaluates your child’s visual-motor skills, language and cognition skills, as well as gross motor skills. After your child completes the ESI-R test, the results will be explained by our highly qualified staff. This is an opportunity to learn about your child’s development and the preschool programs in our community.
Free developmental check-ups are offered annually in March and August at the West Central Elementary in Biggsville. Screenings can also be scheduled by appointment. Please call Jaime at (309)627-2371 to schedule a screening for your child. Families interested in Preschool for All must bring a certified birth certificate and proof of state benefits and/or income information. Screening results will determine eligibility for the Parents as Teachers (0-3 years) program and Preschool for All (3-5 years) program for the upcoming school year.
