My name is Leigh Erlandson and I am the West Central Elementary and West Central High School Art Teacher for the 2017-2018 school year. In 2010 I received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Interior Design from the Illinois Institute of Art - Schaumburg. In May of 2017 I obtained my Professional Educator’s License in Art Education from Western Illinois University. I grew up on a farm in Macomb, IL and love to go home to visit. I have amazing family and friends whom I love to spend time with. In my free time I like to watch movies, travel, bake, spend time outside, and hang out with my cat Raisin! I have always had a passion for art and enjoy working in all mediums. I look forward to combining my love of art with my love of teaching children. I believe that students are able to express their individuality through exploration and creation in the art room. I am excited to begin this new adventure with West Central School District!
