Hello! My name is Andrea Frieden. I am very excited to join your team this year as the dean of students. I look forward to getting to know every member of the WCE family and I am ready for the first day of school to arrive!
During my twenty-three years in education, I have had many roles as a teacher as well as a parent. I have been a reading specialist/interventionist, a classroom teacher, as well as an educator of college undergraduates and teacher colleagues working in both the Monmouth and Galesburg communities. As a parent, I have sent three children through the Monmouth-Roseville school district. However, my favorite role is student. I love to learn! Whether I’m learning about you, your student, the community, the school day, or the curriculum, I hope we can work together to make each and every student successful.
I look forward to providing opportunities and expecting excellence at West Central Elementary!
