Congratulations to Makayla and Roland for participating in the “Peter, Peter, Pumpkin Eater” Contest. Both students completed STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math ) activities with their pumpkins such as measuring, testing to see if the pumpkin floated, and counting and sorting the seeds. Then they carved their pumpkins to create a structure where Peter and his wife could live. Both students were awarded 5 HEAT bucks and a $10.00 certificate to Scholastic Bookclubs. Way to go!
