KG/1st Grade Parent/Guest Program 2026
2026-2027 School Year
Kindergarten students, 1st grade students, and their guests had a wonderful morning at West Central Elementary during the Muffins and Math Program.
Guests and students enjoyed blueberry or chocolate chip muffins, juice and/or coffee. Guests learned about the Envision math curriculum used at West Central Elementary.
Kindergarten students and guests listened to a wonderful story, “Pete the Cat: The Five Little Pumpkins,” by author James Dean, and completed a fun craft counting activity.
First grade students and guests used books from the Arithmechicks series, by author Ann Marie Stephens, to complete entertaining math games and activities.
A few lucky students received a math activity prize.
Our next program will be for 2nd and 3rd grade students on Monday, November 16, 2026.
Be on the lookout for program flyers, which will be sent home the first week of November.
