Good morning West Central Families,
Attached is the school calendar for the 2021-2022 school year. We are looking forward to returning to a normal schedule next school year. At this time, the plan is to return to full in person instruction with our regular start and end times. The first day of student attendance is Tuesday, August 17. School will dismiss at 2:15 p.m. on August 17, 18, 19, and 20.
In this plan, we will also return to late start Mondays with school and transportation starting approximately one hour later than normal on Mondays. Our first late start Monday will be Monday, August 23, 2021. The high school day will start at 9:15 a.m.; the middle school day will start at 9:20 a.m., and the elementary school day will start at 9:30 a.m. on that day and each Monday school is in session throughout the school year.
The online option for registration will be available again next year beginning Monday, August 2. There will also be an in person registration option available by appointment only on Wednesday, August 4, 1:00 – 7:00 p.m. More details regarding registration and next school year will be coming at a later time.
As always, it is important to remember that plans must be fluid and are subject to change based on the guidelines and mandates given by ISBE and IDPH at that time.
