Summer Credit Recovery Opportunity
Credit Recovery for West Central Middle School and West Central High School Students
West Central will offer a Summer Credit Recovery opportunity through Edgenuity for West Central Middle School and West Central High School students who are short credits to graduate or to move to the next grade level.
COST: The cost to each student will be $100 and must be paid to the District in advance of taking the class. Once the student successfully completes the class, the student/parents will be reimbursed the $100 by the District unless they have additional classes to take. In that case, the $100 will be applied to the next class the student is taking and reimbursed by the District upon successful completion of all courses.
DATES AND TIMES: This opportunity will run from June 1 – July 30. Mr. Stewart will be our Summer Credit Recovery teacher for the middle school, and Mrs. Gall will be our Summer Credit Recovery teacher for the high school. Students may go to their current attendance center Monday – Friday, June 1- June 30 from 8:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. to work on these classes and to receive immediate support. In addition, students can work on their course from home at any time of the day through July 30; however, support will have to be requested by sending an email to Mrs. Gall or Mr. Stewart and waiting for their response.
TRANSPORTATION: District provided transportation will not be available.
HOW TO SIGN UP: To sign up for a credit recovery class, middle school students should contact West Central Middle School at (309) 924-1681 by Friday, May 28. High school students should contact West Central High School at (309) 627-2371 by Friday, May 28.
