Modifications to Transportation
A message from WEST CENTRAL C.U.S.D. 235
Due to safety concerns with buses traveling on the icy back roads, we will be modifying our transportation pickup locations for Tuesday, January 21 and Wednesday, January 22. Buses will pickup on main roads and in towns only. The Oquawka stops and pickup times will remain the same. The other pickup locations will be the Rosetta FS, Cruisers, and the normal bus stop locations in Smithshire, Media, Stronghurst, Gulfport, Gladstone, Carman, Biggsville, and Raritan. The first pickup time for all but Oquawka will be 7:15 a.m. Other pickup times will vary after that. You may take your child to the bus stop nearest to your home or bring your child to school. Please remind your child to keep their distance from where the bus stops at each pickup location and to dress warmly. If your child will be driving tomorrow, please remind them to allow plenty of time to come to a stop and to get to their destination.
