Exchange Process Reminders for May 18 and May 21

May 18, 2020

Reminder:

Today, Monday, May 18 and Thursday, May 21 from 3:00 - 6:00 p.m., families are reminded to visit their child's school and return their final packet, completed work, Chromebook with charger and bag, textbooks, library/Bookmobile books, and pay any unpaid fees. Seniors have the option of purchasing their Chromebook but must bring it to the school so that we can remove it from our inventory. If students need the Chromebook to finish any incomplete work, we will reissue a Chromebook to do so.  Students will also be able to get any belongings that are in the school at this time. The elementary will be distributing end of year packets which will include award certificates, yearbooks, summer reading program flyers, and other important information. These items will be bagged up for the students and distributed to the students via the drive through method we have been using for the packet exchange process. Please use the bus lane and remain in your vehicle while staff assists you with this process. It will be extremely helpful if you can quickly share your child's name, classroom teacher(s), and grade level with the individual who approaches your vehicle. We will try and make this go as quickly and efficiently as possible!

We continue to thank you for your patience, support, and understanding as we have worked through this unprecedented situation together. You have been awesome, and we are so appreciative of your cooperation and support in providing for the health and safety of our students and staff as well as our efforts to continue their education. We are so blessed to have such supportive families and community members.

With appreciation,

Paula Markey, Superintendent
West Central C.U.S.D. #235
