And the winners are...
For West Central Elementary School’s 2026 March Book Madness nonfiction winner, we have Clyde: The True Story of a White Alligator by Emma Smith!
And the fiction winner was Negative Cat by Sophie Blackall!
These two books were fierce favorites. They were introduced early in the competition and beat out all the other books.
This well-loved event goes for 7 weeks, highlighting 8 fiction and 8 nonfiction award-winning books.
Other favorites include Plate of Hope: The Inspiring Story of Chef José Andrés and World Central Kitchen by Erin Frankel and Hamsters Make Terrible Roommates by Cheryl Klein.
