Invitation to Bid on Surplus Items
West Central C.U.S.D. #235
Notice is given that a sale of surplus items including a Shaw Walker safe, a small handicapped ramp, and a large handicapped ramp will be held by West Central C.U.S.D. #235, 1514 US Route 34, Biggsville, IL 61418. Sealed bids will be accepted by West Central C.U.S.D. #235. Each bid must be completed on an official document that can be picked up at:

Bid document can also be found at the end of this paragraph. Bids for the surplus items will be opened May 15, 2018 at 2:00 p.m.

Surplus inventory may be inspected upon request until 12:00 p.m. on May 14, 2018. Photos of each item are also shown within this notification.
All surplus inventory offered is subject to the following conditions:
- As-is;
- With all faults and/or defects; and
- With no warranties of any kind whatsoever, expressed or implied.
Bids Process:
- Bids must be submitted on the “Bid Sheet for Surplus Items” form.
- Bids may be submitted in person or by mail, to West Central C.U.S.D. #235 Board of Education, 1514 US Route 34, Biggsville, IL 61418.
- Envelope should be clearly marked “Bid for Surplus Items” and submitted prior to bid opening on May 15, 2018 at 2:00 p.m.
- In case of a tie on an item, each tie bidder for that item will be notified and given a chance to increase their bid.
- Any bids received after the stated time and date will not be considered.
Awarding of Bid:
- Each bid will be opened and evaluated on May 15, 2018 at 2:00 p.m.
- The successful bidder will be notified on May 15, 2018.
- The successful bidder shall make full payment with cash or cashier’s check made payable to West Central C.U.S.D. #235 by Thursday, May 17, 2018 at 3:00 p.m.
- All sales are final.
- Items must be removed from the Media facility by 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 17, 2018.
