Parent/Guardian Mass Communication Update

2025-2026 School Year

The following message was sent via ConnectEd on Monday, August 25:

Good afternoon, this is Stacey Day, Superintendent for West Central Schools. As you probably know, we are transitioning our district communication platform from ConnectEd to Finalsite XR. During the registration process, we asked families to identify a Finalsite XR phone number and email for each guardian listed for each student. We have a number of families who missed that step and we want to give everyone an opportunity to update the information for our new system. This information is vital for us to be able to communicate with you for school related matters. We have set up an online form on your parent/family Skyward page that allows you to complete this step.

Please take a minute to login to your Skyward account and click on the tile "2025-2026 Mass Communication Update" to enter a phone number and email address that will connect to the Finalsite Phone/Email Type. I am also emailing this message and it will have an attachment with screenshots of what you will see when you login to Skyward, if that is helpful for you. It is important that you enter a cell phone number and email for EACH guardian and select the phone/email type as Finalsite for both. Please complete this step by 8:00am on Thursday, August 28. We plan to start testing the new system on Friday, August 29.
